Q: How long have you worked for Waypoint Homes?
A: I have worked for Waypoint for almost 4 years.
Q: What is the title of your position?
A: I am a Service Technician.
Q: How long have you been in this particular position?
A: I have been with the company for over three years.
Q: What does your typical day look like?
A: I usually plan out my day beforehand. I start with the homes I have mapped out and start to plan the type of work I will do. I then make my way over and begin the work. The hours in the day vary–it usually depends on the scale of maintenance the home requires.
Q: The most difficult task you deal with on a daily basis?
A: It gets a tad difficult when I am unable to find the required appliances and materials for any maintenance issues in the home.
Q: Your favorite thing about your role?
A: My favorite thing about my role is I am in control of the work that has to be done. It makes it easy to control when I am able to plan how I will be able to assist our residents.
Q: What’s one thing you excel in within your role?
A: I am able to get things done quickly and efficiently. This makes it easy for me to complete my daily tasks.
Q: How many hours a week do you put in with this role?
A: I work 40 hours each week.
Q: Why do you like working for Waypoint Homes?
A: I truly believe it’s a great company to work for. I love what I do each day because I am able to help our residents. I love my job!
