You Will Need:

  • Mod Podge Matte
  • Mod Podge Gloss
  • Sponge paint brushes
  • Tissue paper of any color and design
  • Unfinished wood picture frame. Michaels craft store is a great place to find them!
  • Festive stickers or bows

To Begin:

Start by taking the glass and backing out of the picture frame and lay flat.

Next, start ripping the tissue paper up in different sizes and shapes.

Pour some Mod Podge Matte into a plastic cup, and add a touch of water and mix.

Then, coat a section of your frame with the glue mixture.

Next, start placing pieces of your tissue paper on the glue-coated sections. Once placed, lightly go over that  piece of tissue paper with another layer of glue.

Continuing placing and gluing until the whole frame is covered. Don’t forget the sides and back!

Let dry, then begin gluing the second layer (this time, the polka dot paper) the same way. I did a couple layers of the white.

Once the glue is dry, mix your Mod Podge Gloss with a splash of water.

Cover your frame in a layer of the gloss. Once dry, add one more layer to give it a glossy finish.
