DIY Green Cleaning Supplies

With just a few ingredients, you can have that clean house you want – without breaking your wallet or wreaking havoc on your health!

Below is a wide variety of different DIY cleaning supplies for different parts of your house – try one or try them all!

1. All-Purpose Cleaner

An all-purpose cleaner is one of the most basic, yet important because it does just that – everything! It can virtually be used anywhere and on any surface, thus an important cleaner to have on hand!

  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. Dawn dish soap
  • 4 Tbsp. white vinegar
  • 400 ML warm water
  • Combine all ingredients in a spray bottle and shake well!

2. Dusting Spray

Having dust is inevitable – no matter how hard or how much you clean, it always seems to sneak up on you! Try to beat it once and for all with this all-natural cleaner.

  • 2 tsp. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 1 cup warm water
  • Combine all ingredients in a spray bottle and shake well!

3. Toilet Bowl Cleaner

This is probably one of the most important cleaners! Mix this up and your porcelain thrown will stay porcelain.

  • 1/4 cup baking soda
  • 1/4 cup borax
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • Pour the ingredients directly into the toilet and mix with a toilet brush. Allow to site at least 30 minutes before you scrub.

4. Granite Cleaner

Who doesn’t love their granite? The only problem is cleaning it. With this easy-to-make cleaner, you can have your granite and clean it too!

  • 1/2 cup rubbing alcohol
  • 8 drops Dawn dish soap
  • 2 cups warms water
  • Combine all ingredients in a spray bottle and shake well!

5. Glass Cleaner

Finger prints, streaks, toothpaste that went flying – glass can get messy very quickly. Clean it up with this simple cleaner!

  • 1/4 cup rubbing alcohol
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 cup warm water
  • Combine all ingredients together in a spray bottle and shake well!

6. Grout Cleaner

No matter how many times you clean your floors, often they still look dirty. This can be due to the fact that you haven’t paid close enough attention to cleaning the grout! Scrub them down with this great cleaner and pretty soon you’ll see your reflection in your floors.

  • 1/2 cup baking soda
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • Mix in a small bowl and with a toothbrush, apply the mixture to the grout and allow to sit for 5 minutes before rinsing off!
