5 Healthy Snacks To Eat At Work
If you’re like me, you’re always hungry. Three meals in a day ordinarily would not suffice– an excellent reason as to why I snack often while at work. The idea here is to hold me over before lunch.
It’s important to make sure while we wait, we get in some nutritious snacks. Who says it’s impossible to snack healthy at work? Read on for some of my favorite snacks to munch on at work.
By far my all-time favorite healthy snack at work. Grapes are exceptionally delicious because they are not only sweet, but they are also healthy! It’s got antioxidant power written all over it. There’s far less guilt knowing you’re eating with a purpose.
Graham crackers and peanut butter
Try this on for size and thank me later. Peanut butter (or almond butter) pairs nicely with a lot of foods, and needless to say, it is amazing on graham crackers. You’ll sneak in some fiber and a few ounces of protein. Happy snack-day to you!
I like these because they are small, yet pack a sweet punch of vitamin C. Vitamin C is great for bodies lacking energy. I tend to get tired toward the middle of my day so when I grab about one or two of these, it really makes a difference. Snack smart people!
Red peppers and hummus
Adding a variety of color to your plate is a golden tip for any time of day. It’s no different with snacks. Give this one a try and enjoy all the health benefits.
Almonds are simply great. A recent discovery of mine (very late, I know) detailed nuts as a suitable snack because they are a good source of protein. With protein comes great responsibility…or rather, less sugar. Less sugar content is always a great thing.
