5 Awesome Breweries In The Atlanta Area
Autumn is quickly approaching, which means it’s the perfect weather for visiting a brewery! Whether it’s for Octoberfest or a fun night out, we’ve tracked down some awesome spots to check out.
Red Hare (Marietta)
For just $12, you can get 36 ounces of beer samples while touring the facility! This spot is family friendly, so feel free to bring the kids if you want. They can taste some delicious root beer while you have some fun! This is also a great location to host a private group event.
Sweetwater is all about fun, which is probably why we like it so much! Their brewery tours are available Wednesday-Sunday, with food trucks on the weekend! Check out the Taproom for their year-round beers, and then head next door to The Woodlands to see their rotating barrel aged options. We suggest going here at least a few times a year to taste all the flavors!
Second Shelf (Atlanta)
This pet-friendly brewery is a can’t miss in northwest Atlanta and is all about keeping it local. They pair up with surrounding restaurants, comedians and more to make your experience extra special! Second Shelf also works with multiple charities, such as Lost & Found and Giving Kitchen, to help better their community. You don’t need us to explain it – they’re pretty awesome!
Monday Night (Atlanta)
This state-of-the-art brewery is passionate about the technology behind their fantastic brews. We’re sure you’ll learn all about it in a tour, but as a highlight, they have a machine that can pump out 3,000 bottles per hour. The best part? If you go here within one day of your birthday, you’ll get a free brewery tour! And don’t worry, they aren’t only open on Monday nights.
We know this is pushing the Atlanta area, but trust us when we say Terrapin is worth the drive! If you appreciate the art behind beer cans/logos, you’re going to love this place. The tasting room is open Wednesday-Sunday, with live music on the weekends. The $12 tour includes 36 oz of beer samples, and you can also add up to 72oz of beer to-go. This brewery is also pet-friendly, so feel free to bring Fido!
